Hats off to CVS

Well, you all know I've been vacationing in Michigan...just visiting some family.  We had a nice time watching a Hot Air Balloon Jubilee today.  My husband had a great time except for the poison sumac that was aggravating him!  We decided to stop at CVS to get him some allergy relief products.  I was cringing the entire way because I had left my coupons at the house!  I scan the magic coupon machine to find the same coupons I received earlier this week; therefore, I knew the new ad most likely had not been set in the store.  I find my products~about $12.00 worth.  See, I had previewed the ad to realize I could get 3ECBs when purchasing Caladryl and other things...   I asked the clerk if their store allows the ad to start at 6PM the night before like my local CVS.  Politely she said only sometimes, but not tonight.  Well, long story short....she gave me $3 in ECBs anyways!!!  I just wanted to share with you all how nice CVS was to me this evening. I tip my hat to CVS this evening!  Do you have any positives from stores lately?  There's so many negative coupon interactions with stores and clerks...it's always warming to hear the good stuff too!  ~Katie
