My Thoughts on ReGifting Christmas Presents

Are you a ReGifter?? 

I thought this was the perfect time to post about this since Christmas is just a little over a week away. 

A couple of years ago I didn't even dare to think about regifting, not that I thought it was wrong I had just never heard of doing such and well I wasn't that creative to think of it. But now I'm a regifter. It seems to be a big debate everywhere if regifting is right, there are some that do it and some that think it's just horrible, well here's my thoughts on the whole subject.

• -Regifting does not mean you are poor, or cheap. Yes regifting SAVES you money but by no means labels you as poor, it's called being FRUGAL! With the ever rising prices of EVERYTHING these days I think it is very smart to regift. 
• -Regifting does not mean you are being lazy!! Regifting an item takes a little more creativity than just going to the store to buy this exact gift for this exact person. You have to remember who gave you the gift, ( so to be sure not to gift it to them) and you need to put thought into who you are going to give it to. 

Now I do not regift every present I'm given, actually it's very little that I do regift, so don't think that people that do this regift EVERYTHING - because I know I do not. But take a look in your closet or wherever you put your stuff you don't use and look at the unused and unopened items you have stored away just collecting dust. If you haven't used said item since the last Christmas you got, then more than likely you aren't ever going to use it, so why not gift it to someone that will. 

Another great thing to having these unused gifts around is if you forgot about someone's Birthday it saves you from having to run out to the store and buy something. Also you may not have the extra money that week to buy them something, so regift that Vanilla scented candle that you didn't like because Vanilla's not your thing.

So remember regifting isn't an insult, your not poor and no honey your not lazy! I think regifting the right present to the right person is perfectly acceptable.
